Building a more sustainable fisheries and aquaculture sector also means recognizing and highlighting the leadership of women who are driving positive change.
The Calant Xarxes Alliance, led by María Elisa Martínez, has been selected as one of 24 initiatives featured Entrepreneurial Good Practices Promoted by Women in the Fisheries and Aquaculture Sector and Equality Initiatives. The publication was presented by Spain’s General Secretariat for Fisheries on the occasion of the International Day for Women in Maritime.
