Conference on the Conservation of Balearic Marine Biodiversity

Marilles Foundation, in collaboration with the Sa Nostra Foundation and with funding from CaixaBank, organises the Conference on the Conservation of Balearic Marine Biodiversity. This series of three events is dedicated to the protection and recovery of marine species and vulnerable habitats in the Balearic Sea.

The conference promotes cooperation between researchers, managers, and civil society to advance marine conservation through the creation of monitoring protocols, the optimisation of resources allocated to research, and the development of concrete action plans for the recovery of threatened habitats and species. The sessions will take place at the headquarters of the Fundació Sa Nostra, Can Tàpera, Palma, and it's attended by representatives of the central and Balearic governments, as well as numerous experts from scientific institutions and the third sector
