The Calant Xarxes Alliance works to achieve sustainable fisheries in the Balearic Islands. We join forces with fishers, administrations, NGOs, scientists, restauranteurs, and fishmongers to promote a sustainable supply of fish and seafood from the Balearic Sea. In addition, we encourage the consumption of local, traceable, and environmentally friendly seafood, helping to mitigate illegal fishing.
This initiative is the result of collaboration between Marilles Foundation, Menorca Preservation, Ibiza Preservation, Mallorca Preservation, Conservation Collective, and Blue Marine Foundation.
