Presenting the study on marine narratives at the Seas of Consequences conference

Who talks about the ocean? How do they do so? What role does marine conservation play in the public debate?

These are some of the questions we answer in the study on social perceptions of marine conservation in the Spanish Mediterranean.

The Marilles communications team presented the main findings of this report, summarised in the poster “Contar el océano” (Telling the story of the ocean), during the poster session of the international Seas of Consequences: Social and Natural Science Narratives on Environmental Harm and Crime at Sea, held at the University of the Balearic Islands fromn15 to17 April.

International experts in marine communication and members of scientific institutions and organisations from the Balearic Islands attended the event.
