Three years of collective action for the Mediterranean

This month, the Together for the Med Steering Committee gathered to reflect on the progress achieved over the past three years and to shape the next chapter of our collective journey!

Read our conclusions here.

Since 2023, Together for the Med has grown into a dynamic network bringing together dozens of organisations working across the Mediterranean to advance effective marine conservation. This progress has been made possible through the collective commitment of its partners and the support provided by the Pew Bertarelli Ocean Legacy programme to the partnership’s coordination.

As one of its partners and member of the Steering Committee, Marilles has strengthened collaboration across countries and sectors, supported MPAs, promoted sustainable fisheries solutions, fostered knowledge exchange, and developed ambitious regional initiatives capable of delivering impact at scale. What makes this partnership unique is not only the diversity of expertise around the table, but also a shared conviction: protecting the Mediterranean requires long-term collaboration, practical solutions and collective leadership.

Together for the Med remains committed to supporting conservation organisations in the Mediterranean, ensuring lasting impact in preserving species, habitats and livelihoods.

The next chapter starts soon!
