Sandra Espeja, head of the marine citizen science programme in the Balearic Islands and coordinator of the Balearic Blue Deal, took part in the 2024 TEDxDalt Vila. "For a sea full of life" was the title of the talk Espeja gave to an audience of more than 400 people. Personal experiences, scientific curiosities, and emotional connection converged in this conference that had a common thread: the importance of the conservation of the Balearic Sea.
TEDxDalt Vila took place on 23 March at the Palacio de Congresos de Ibiza, in Santa Eulària des Riu. The theme of this year's event was "Everything changes". Twelve speakers from all over the world took part in the event, dealing with subjects as varied as the war in Gaza, artificial intelligence, and ecological agriculture.
