Marine citizen science on the radio
Sea Watchers launches a bi-weekly radio programme dedicated to marine citizen science, with interviews with leaders of the 15 projects of the platform.
The episodes can be listened live on Ràdio Calvià (107.4 FM) on Wednesdays at 11.05 am, every two weeks.
Observers, scientists and representatives of collaborative organisations tells us about jellyfish, seaweeds, corals, fish, crustaceans or sharks, among many other topics.
The first programme dedicated to marine citizen science featured Sandra Espeja, coordinator of Observadores del Mar in the Balearic Islands; the researcher Fiona Tomas; and the Observatorio Centinela Mar Balear Dive Center.
