Calvià Hosts the First Stop of the Travelling Exhibition “Feim un capfico?”

The exhibition opens with MARE images, offering a view of the Balearic Sea through photography and knowledge

Torà Square in Peguera is hosting, from today until 25 June, the travelling exhibition “Fancy a Dive?”, promoted by MARE with the support of Calvià Town Council and other collaborating organisations. The exhibition brings together a collection of photographs that connect residents and visitors with the Balearic Sea, inviting them to “dive into” its waters, discover more about the marine environment that surrounds us and actively participate in its conservation.
The exhibition offers different levels of interaction depending on visitors’ interests. Through photography and knowledge, “Fancy a Dive?” provides an intimate and accessible perspective on the Balearic Sea, combining visual impact with educational content to foster emotional connections and environmental awareness.
The photographs featured in the exhibition are the 32 award-winning works from the 6th edition of MARE FOTO, the Photography Competition for the Conservation of the Balearic Sea, one of the flagship initiatives of the MARE project, which brings together art, science and community to inspire action in favour of the Balearic Sea.
