TUI Sea the Change in the Balearics aims to improve the sustainability of locar fisheries, restore shallow water bays and strengthening local organisations while creating links to the tourism sector to drive change.
Different locations across the archipelago will be covered by the shallow water bay restoration activities, improvement of fisheries practices and measure to reduce illegal fishing. The project also aims at supporting the so-called “pescaturismo” experience The project also aims to support the so-called "pescaturismo" experience and provide training to local NGOs to strengthen and professionalize the third sector.
This project joins TUI Care Foundation's global network of marine conservation initiatives already underway in 10 countries.
