Workshop on measuring and managing social impact

How do we know if our work is really effective and transformative? This November, we tried to answer this question. Eight third-sector organizations dedicated to marine conservation in the Balearic Islands met at the Centre Flassaders in Palma to learn how to evaluate the social impact of their initiatives.

In this workshop, Bernardo García offered us tools to define effective social impact measurement systems, identify their main components, and reflect on how to use them to maximise the impact of programmes and projects. We gained fundamental knowledge of when and how to measure impact and how to get the most out of these metrics.

This initiative is part of Marilles Foundation's strategy to strengthen and professionalise the third sector in the Balearic Islands, an effort made possible thanks to the support of the TUICare Foundation.
