From Science to Management: ISRA and the Conservation of Elasmobranchs in the Spanish Mediterranean

This report is the result of a scientific and technical workshop attended by 22 participants from research institutions, environmental organisations and the fishing industry. The document puts forward seven cross-cutting proposals and 14 measures to the authorities to advance the conservation of sharks and rays in the Spanish Mediterranean. It has been drawn up within the framework of the SARKO project, coordinated by Marilles, and the e-lasmobranc and elasmo-2 projects, an initiative of CIMAR Santa Pola.
