Training: Environmental legislation, key to strengthening NGO action

Eight third-sector organisations from the Balearic Islands – Arrels Marines, Cleanwave Foundation, GEN-GOB, GOB Mallorca, ICTIB, Marilles, Plataforma Port Ramassat, and Save the Med – participated in training on environmental legislation organised by the Marine Protected Areas (MPA) department of  Marilles Foundation.

Esteban Morelle, an expert in penal law and green criminology, delivered the training on the international and national legislation that regulates MPAs. The participants also worked on real cases of MPAs located in the Balearic Sea.

This training is part of Marilles Foundation's strategy to strengthen and professionalise the third sector in the Balearic Islands.
