Med Sea Alliance
The Med Sea Alliance (MSA) is an alliance of non-governmental organisations and other civil society groups created in 2020 to improve the health of the Mediterranean and put an end to destructive fishing practices and overfishing.
Marilles Foundation has been part of this alliance since its inception and is currently a member of its steering committee. In the first MSA project, Marilles is responsible for assessing the economic impact of illegal trawling in marine protected areas.
Marilles also acts as a bridge between the MSA and another Mediterranean alliance, Together for the Med, to foster collaboration between the two. To conserve the Balearic Sea and the Mediterranean we must work together and share the resources of all organisations.
